THEMES:
* Good vs. Evil: The vampire hunter lead by Van Helsing are determine to kill Dracula before its too late. Dracula try to turn the town into vampires. The vampire hunter represent good as they try to save people from tranforming into a vampire. Dracula represent evil as he suck their blood, tranform women into vampires, and controlling people to get what he wants.
* Religion: Dracula is an anti-Christian. Using Christian symbol of good, it can defeat and defend from Dracula's power.
* Feminist: Lucy and Mina represent the feminity in the novel.
* Sexuality: As Lucy transform into a vampire she become sexual toward Holmwood, her fiancee. Also the three vampire sisters show their sexual behaviour to seduce Harker in Dracula's castle.
* Appearance vs. Reality: Dracula may seem like a normal human person but in reality he is a vampire due to his behaviour and his immortal powers. Lucy may seem like she is ill with her pale face but in realityshe was tranforming into a vampire.
* Mortal vs. Immortal: Dracula is a vampire and is turning women into vampires including Lucy and Mina. The men in the novel tries to prevent it from happen. Dracula is immortal since he have been living for centuries and have supernatural power. On the other hand, the men in the group of vampire hunter are mortal since they don't have any powers or what so ever.
CONFLICT:
Self vs. Supernatural:
~ Harker vs. Dracula: As soon as Harker found out that Dracula is a vampire he became a prison in his castle and tries to escape, however, Dracula erase his memory and send him to the hospital.
~ Van Helsing vs. Dracula: Van Helsing knows Dracula's weaknesses and try to destory Dracula by forming a group to hunt him down before he does anymore damages.
~ Mina vs. Dracula: Dracula's next victim after Lucy is Mina. He forces her to drink his blood and almost got transform into a vampire.
